The Room Outside | Our Garden Makeover

Well it has been a busy couple of weekends spent making over our garden.

It is all completely finished now, with lots of spaces to entertain or just relax at the end of a hard day. Before, the back corner was just covered with bark and edged with some boulders that were here when we moved into the house. Next to this we have a patio that had mismatched dining furniture. We cleared the bark, dug it over, levelled the ground and built a raised patio for a BBQ area. I am in love with our garden now and love spending time here.

It’s great in the morning to sit outside with Woopy and a coffee and just enjoy the space. Let’s take a look…

What do you think? Kieran and I worked pretty hard getting it all done, especially Kieran as he lifted all the flags for the raised patio area which are extremely heavy. We just have one final part to finish which is we would like a step built going up to the raised patio, but that can wait for now.
We hosted our first BBQ of the year here last night and had a great time; there was lots of comfy seating, Kieran loved his BBQ area and it all just felt really chilled as the solar lights twinkled on. Looking forward to a whole summer spent out here!
