Weekend In London | Les Miserables and Dinner at China Town | Part 2

What an amazing weekend! I can’t even pick a bit I enjoyed the most!

We set off at 6.30am Saturday morning and arrived at the hotel for 11.50am – not bad considering we stopped for breakfast too! After checking in, it was straight off to get ready for the theatre – you can check out my outfit here.

After a bit of confusion at travelling in a big city, we got the bus to Shaftesbury Avenue which was lined with posters of tall the best productions and bustling with people dressed up for the theatre!

The production was amazing and the theatre was beautiful inside! We settled into the seats with a glass of Prosecco and the music started – I had goose bumps! The performance was incredible, everyone sang with such passion you could feel it yourself – I’ll admit I cried a few times!

Afterwards we headed to meet my cousin and her partner where we had drinks in Carnaby Street, Soho, famous for it’s fashion boutiques and music in the 1960s from the likes of The Who.

At this point we were all finally starving so rounded back to Shaftesbury Avenue and slipped off to China Town for dinner. Fantastic! We went to a place called Gerrards corner for more wine and Chinese food which was so delicious I think we’ll find it hard to have a takeaway at home again!

Parting from my cousin, we nipped into a great Irish bar called Waxy’s for one final drink of the night before taking a stroll into Westminster, passing Trafalgar Square and Big Ben on the way! Shattered, we got the tube back to the hotel.

And that concludes day one in London! To be continued…
