Wednesday we travelled back from Singapore, landing in the UK on Thursday and arriving home at around 9am. I think I had a grand total of 4 hours sleep in that whole time so Thursday was very tiring! But I had to stay awake so I could sync back up to the time zone.
I broke through a good load of washing (least favourite part of holidaying), got some food shopping and cuddle Woopy all afternoon as I’d missed her so much! The excitement she had when we walked through the door was just brilliant.
Thursday night called for a take away as we were too tired to cook so we had an Indian with my parents and some wine; it was lovely seeing them after so long. And then we were in bed by 9pm!
With all that travelling, I didn’t have time to post my final Singapore diary from Tuesday! So here’s a little of what we got up to before our 24 hours of travelling!
On Tuesday we went to the Singapore Zoo which was an incredible place. You get extremely close to the animals, with the Orangutans swinging right above your head and the Rhinos just a couple of feet away! The best part about the zoo we enjoyed was seeing Pandas, something we’ve never seen before! They are so beautiful and relaxed; we felt incredibly lucky to see such lovely animals.
